MHUG Scholarship Supports Future Hydropower Leaders
Are you interested in a career in hydropower? The Midwest Hydro Users Group (MHUG) scholarship can help you achieve your goals.
High school seniors and those enrolled within their first 2 years of a 2-year, or 4-year college, university, or technical school are eligible for our scholarship.
- You must be accepted or enrolled at a Midwestern university, college, or technical school (eligible states are listed in the application).
- You must also be interested in a program that supports the hydropower industry (examples provided in the application).
How to Apply
Scholarship applications are available in October.
Applications are due in February.
You’ll need to complete the application, submit your official transcript, and have one reference provide a personal recommendation.
Selection and Award
Scholarship winners will be notified in April. The scholarship amount will be paid directly to the school before the upcoming academic year begins.
